About the event
The S.O. is back! Join us as we kick off our exciting and energetic 2021-2022 season featuring the music of American composers past and present. On our first concert, we bring the music of Hollywood to life. Enjoy the iconic sounds of Forrest Gump and Star Trek, as well as a special tribute to American icon John Williams. The night begins with John K. Paine’s “As You Like It” overture, and culminates in present-day composer Eric Whitacre’s fun and exciting showpiece for orchestra - Godzilla Eats Las Vegas.
